Between courtyard and garden

Built between 1700 and 1702 by Charles Le Brun, the nephew of the famous painter to King Louis XIV, and of whom he was the principal legatee, this mansion is a perfect example of classical French architecture. Its magnificent reception rooms, home to the painter Watteau and naturalist Buffon, were listed as a Historic Monument in 1955.
After major renovation work, this historic venue will open its doors for the first time in spring 2017. Set between courtyard and garden, the reception rooms, spread over three independent floors, can accommodate up to 420 guests for cocktails and evenings over an area of 1,000m².
