Our CSR approach

LetMeDo, the first CSR solution for committed events

LetMeDo, the first CSR solution for committed events

To respond to the main challenge facing our sector, the fight against food waste, to optimize the organization of turnkey events and facilitate exchanges with its customers and partners, Trait'Tendance has invested over 4 million Euros to develop an in-house software program: LetMeDo.

LetMeDo lets you create a turnkey event in just a few clicks that meets today's CSR challenges:

Zero waste policy " :

  • Recipe cards are optimized for millimetric orders, calculated to the nearest gram.
  • Inventories are monitored in real time to limit irrelevant purchases.

Choosing local, committed suppliers :

  • LetMedo brings together over 350 food suppliers (representing more than 50,000 products) based in France, locally whenever possible. Our suppliers are signatories to a charter of social and environmental good conduct.

Digital ecology :

  • "Paperless": the digitization of ordering processes via LetMeDo has enabled Trait'Tendance to reduce its paper consumption by 90%.
  • Digital pollution is controlled by storing and sharing documents on the LetMeDo platform.
  • Our web host is certified by "The Green web foundation".

Thanks to Let Me Do, Trait'Tendance has produced over 3,500 events with minimal environmental impact, representing sales of over 30 million euros, and double-digit growth from 2010 to 2019.

Environmental responsibility

Supporting local, seasonal production

  • We choose fresh, seasonal produce from French suppliers, local whenever possible. We give preference to products from organic farming or, at the very least, sustainable agriculture.
  • We join the Mr Goodfish program to safeguard our fish stocks. We follow their recommendations when creating our menus: fish in season, caught at maturity, in selected areas.
  • We have a suppliers' charter, a guarantee of good social and environmental conduct.

Combating food waste

  • Recipe cards are optimized for millimetric orders, calculated to the nearest gram.
  • Inventories are monitored in real time to limit irrelevant purchases.

Sort and recycle

  • On our premises, in our laboratory and at events: we sort waste using a system of separate containers.
  • Our organic waste is transformed into compost.
  • We optimize our coffee consumption thanks to our supplier Chacun son café (Grand Prix de la Good Economie 2021). In this way, we are taking part in the Terra Noon cooperative support project. In 2021, Trait'Tendance helped transform a 2.2-hectare farm into an agroforestry farm.

Eliminate plastic

  • All plastic containers and accessories have been replaced by ecological and recyclable materials (wood, potato starch, bamboo...).

Reducing carbon footprint

  • Our fleet of commercial vehicles has been replaced by electric cars.
  • Our delivery routes are optimized. Our drivers are trained in eco-driving.

Social responsibility

Putting people at the heart of our business

  • We employ and support event workers with precarious professional status (intermittent workers, extras, temporary workers).
  • We help promote equal opportunities for employees by encouraging internal training and promotion.
  • We encourage parity and support gender equality.

Promoting well-being in the office

  • In 2019, our renovated premises will meet the most stringent High Environmental Quality (HEQ) standards.
  • Our production laboratory was built in 2019 in compliance with the most stringent hygiene and safety standards, as recommended by the CRAMIF (ergonomic and automatic ice makers, non-slip floor, latest-generation hobs, ovens and sauté pans).
  • LED office lighting, with automatic detection, consumes 5 times less energy.
  • We subscribe to a green electricity contract.
  • Water fountains, bean-to-cup coffee machines and "hard" crockery have made it possible to eliminate the use of plastics altogether.
  • Rest areas and weekly sports classes contribute to well-being at work.

Social and charitable investment

  • We have entered into a partnership with theLinkee association. Linkee provides a logistical and solidarity-based solution for redistributing surplus food to people in need.
  • We regularly forge partnerships with culinary schools (Ecole Ferrandi, Insitut Paul Bocuse). We also encourage the training and integration of apprentices and work-study students.
  • Our partnership with theAfuté association enables us to offer training in catering professions to disabled young people aged 14 to 18, through internships in our production departments.
  • Throughout the year, we carry out a number of charity initiatives.
