Mirror, my beautiful mirror!

In the 20s, Europe was gripped by dance and party fever. Big cities and remote villages were then home to travelling dance halls known as Magic Mirrors. While most have now disappeared, the Parc de la Villette is still home to one of the last remaining examples of these ephemeral party venues. Red velvet and chiselled wood, tables and benches, bevelled lights and mirrors, parquet flooring and a circular dance floor: in an unchanged Art Nouveau décor, this 800m² space can accommodate 300 to 350 people for dinner, 750 to 850 for cocktails and 1,200 for dancing.
