Events, a sector under pressure

Press release:

Against a backdrop of sustained pressure on their resources since the end of the pandemic, amplified by the emergence of new crises, Paris Event Caterers and their counterparts in the Paris Ile de France region wish to alert their customers to the consequences of increasingly shorter order processing times.

Frequently less than 15 days before the event, these abnormal lead times are contrary to the fundamental commitments made by all professionals in the sector:

o the conditions for the healthy competitiveness needed to ensure the quality of their purchases and ultimately benefit their customers;
o respect for their employees’ working hours and their legitimate well-being at work;
o minimizing the operational risks for the customer associated with last-minute activities;
o meeting their #CSR targets, which require advance planning.

To encourage their customers to adopt more responsible practices, and to enable them to anticipate their orders, Event Caterers undertake to inform their customers of the financial implications of an order placed less than 15 days in advance.
