Tasting day at Cercle Lebrun

On April 15, 150 Pain Vin & Company customers gathered at the Cercle Lebrun, a private mansion that has stood the test of time.

Built between 1700 and 1702 for Charles Le Brun, painter to King Louis XIV and director of the Académie Royale de Peinture, this townhouse is a perfect example of classical architecture. Its grand reception apartments welcomed illustrious guests such as the painter Watteau and the naturalist Buffon.

It was in this setting, which has been open to events for barely two years, that guests from Pain Vin & Company were surprised by the wines from the South-West of France on offer during a day of tasting. At the end of a studious masterclass and assembly workshop, Trait’Tendance offered a cocktail reception served between the beautifully decorated lounges and the French garden.
